Michelle and Mundi are saying “I do” this Friday in Mexico!!!

They didn’t want an “obvious” tropical theme for their beach wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, they wanted the invitation to express “fun”. So, we went to work and came up with the stylized over-sized flower motif that you see here. Their invitations were printed on a metallic stock and used dark pink and lime green inks to compliment the “fun” approach.

They loved the invitation so much that we are currently working on their “After Party” invitations for a reception for the guests that could not attend the wedding in Mexico (which happens to be my favorite design I have ever done). Michelle and Mundi are on a path to a beautiful life together, and we are so happy they met us along that path. Congratulations!!

Last month we received an email from Leah at Celebrations Catering requesting 125 menus for one of her brides. The menus were very simple and matched one of our invitations from “The Invitation Bar”. Our menus were photographed by the amazing TJM Studios, and a week later they sent us a disk full of images to share with our readers. Take a look at the gorgeous setting that the Museum of Natural History provides for any event, of course it did receive help form Celebrations’ decor.  This was a perfect example that you don’t have to just order invitations, the sky’s the limit!

Chanity and Brandon came to us after meeting us at the bridal expo last year. They saw one of the invitations from our “Invitation Bar” and fell in love. We re-designed the invitation with their chosen colors of brown, green, and pink, added new fonts and made it custom to them. Now, we are in the middle of production for their invitation suite and we wanted to share their monogram and their beautiful engagement session by Footstone Photography.

Yeah, that’s right, we have the hottest clients ever!  We will share the entire invitation suite once Chanity and Brandon mail them to their guests (sorry). =)

We have been at our new location in Haile Plantation now for 3 months, and we couldn’t be happier! If you haven’t had a chance to come visit us, please drop by and say hi! We LOVE doing invitations, and especially love it when our clients ask us to do other coordinating pieces. So, when Maria asked us to do her Save the Dates, we were thrilled! Her invitations have not been mailed yet, so we can’t show you their entire suite but, we can finally show you her beautiful save the dates!

These were printed on a gorgeous linen texture and had a magnet backing so their guests would put them right up on the refrigerator. The best part of these..the picture was taken by the couple! That’s what makes these so special. We loved doing these for Maria and Timmy and cannot wait for their guests to receive their invitations!

Alexa and Nick came to us with a very, very strong idea of what they (she) wanted…pink! Lot’s and lot’s of pink. Light pink, dark pink, pink pink.  The invitation suite we have designed for this great couple features 2 different pink metallic stocks, metallic white all in a shimmery black pocket tied with what else?, a pink ribbon.

We loved every minute of working with this great couple to create their invitations and cannot wait until their guests receive them in the mail. Once they are mailed out we will show you the final design, until then, here’s the monogram that started it all.

So anybody that knows me, knows that I LOVE CAKE! So when we were asked to help with Posh Pastry’s cake tasting event, we said YES!!!!

This event is perfect for any bride, birthday boy or girl, or fans of beautiful works of edible art. The Sweet Life: A Cake Tasting Event will be held on Thursday, February 4th at The Hippodrome in downtown Gainesville. this intimate event is the perfect opportunity to sample delicious cake from one of the areas best cake designers. We will be in attendance showing some of our newest custom designs and so will several other leading Gainesville Wedding Vendors such as The Event Divas, Adore Events, Footstone Photography, Terranova Catering, and Florida Wedding Dj’s, Solutions Bridal, and Party Time Rentals.

As we previously shared, we were asked to design the invitations for the many parties surrounding the Extreme Makeover Home Edition build here in Gainesville for the Wagstaff Family. We designed ticket style invitations for the Official Viewing Party that was held last night at the Gainesville Women’s Club! Take a look at how they turned out…

We were so thrilled to be able to help in our own way and we wish the Wagstaff family a very blessed year in their new beautiful home.

It’s finally time! Time for the big reveal of our new studio! On February 4th, Unique Designs, Adore Weddings and Events, and Footstone Photography will be co-hosting an “open house” to reveal our newly renovated studios. We will be closing the street for this grand occasion and having some of the industry’s top wedding vendors sponsoring the party.

Sample catered delights by Celebrations Catering, eat yummy sweets by Posh Pastry, Ms. Debbie’s Sugar Art, and KB’s Kakes, groove to the sounds of Waynes World Entertainment, experience the ambiance provided by The Event Divas, and of course see samples of our Invitations and Stationery!  AP Limo will be in attendance too with beautiful limos parked outside.

So eat, drink, and tour the new space, then head over next door to tour the beautiful photography studio by Footstone Photography! Just a little sneak peek of one of the suites we are currently working on. Tracy and Jeff will be having a beautiful peacock themed wedding in April and asked us to design their invitations. We are thrilled to finally be designing with peacock feathers!! It was a goal for the new year.
